Robbery At Gambling Outlet Sees Armed Men Leave With Cash

A robbery took place late last night at a gaming shop located in Triq in-Naxxar,San Gwann, during which an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen by two armed and hooded men.

The robbery, which took place at 10:45 PM last night according to a police statement, saw the hooded and masked men enter the shop with firearms, steal an amount of money from the shop’s cash register, and proceed to flee the scene.

A cashier, a 30-year old woman, and a customer, a 24-year old man, who were both in the shop at the time of the robbery were left unhurt.

The police investigation into this robbery is still ongoing, as well as the search for the two men who carried it out.
