Underage Under Threat: Spree Of Minor Defilement Cases In A Week

It has been a bad week for minors with 3 separate court cases verging from indecent photos of an underaged girl with threatened blackmail, rape allegations and grooming. Various entities of child protection have been contacted for comment and even advice to young people.

TEACH HER A LESSON

A now 25-year-old man asked for indecent media of a girl 2 years ago. The 17-year old contacted police this week in a panic when the man threatened to publish the media to “teach her a lesson” after recently contacting the girl and asking her to enter a sexual relationship with him. He has been brought to court and pleads “not guilty". He has been granted bail and placed under a curfew.

DISGUSTING

A 35-year-old man has been placed under arrest this week after sexually violating his neice's friend during a sleepover. His bail remains a prickly issue. A 45-year-old man was also accused of grooming, allegedly being told “not to go with [other] men”, and sexual abuse of the 14-year-old daughter of his partner. He has been arraigned without his defence asking for bail.
