FULL TIME VACANCIES

HEAD OF CONTENT 

SideStreet is looking for a curious, sharp, and creative Head of Content to guide our editorial output and set the tone of Malta’s youth platform.
 

Must-Have Experience:
  • 1+ years in journalism, media, or digital content creation

  • Proven ability to run or oversee content across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)

  • Strong background in writing, editing, or scripting short-form content

  • Experience managing a content calendar and keeping to deadlines

  • Comfortable giving editorial feedback and guiding a small team
     

Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong news judgement and ability to spot stories that matter

  • Clear voice and sharp eye for detail - from headlines to captions

  • Creative thinker who knows how to package content for maximum impact

  • Organised and consistent in overseeing daily content flow

  • Collaborative leadership style; able to work closely with writers, hosts, and editors

  • Respectful of facts, tone, and the audience’s trust
     

Bonus:
  • Confidence on camera or in hosting settings

  • Fluency in both Maltese and English

  • Basic editing or design skills (Premiere Pro, Canva, CapCut, Photoshop)

  • Experience leading content in a youth-focused or start-up environment

SALES EXECUTIVE

SideStreet is looking for a driven, creative, and strategic Head of Sales to lead our B2B efforts.

 

Must-Have Experience:
  •   2+ years in B2B sales, ideally in media, creative, or digital marketing industries

  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals with brands, agencies, or corporate clients

  • Strong experience in building sales proposals, decks, and tailored pitches

  • Background in client relationship management, including post-sale follow-up

  • Comfortable managing full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, and upselling.
     

Skills & Attributes:
  •   Excellent communication, persuasion, and presentation skills

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and package value creatively

  •  Organised and proactive in managing leads, follow-ups, and pipelines

  • Comfortable using CRM tools and sales tracking systems

  •     • Collaborative mindset;  able to work closely with content creators and campaign managers

  • Understands branded content and what makes it sell in today’s digital environment

 

Bonus:
  • Existing network of agency or brand contacts

  • Experience working in a fast-paced media environment or start-up setting 

  • Familiarity with social media formats, influencer campaigns, or video-driven advertising
