In his first broadcasted message since winning the election, Prime Minister Robert Abela said his government will continue removing all COVID restrictions and let the individual make his own personal choices when it comes to tackling the virus going forward. “Malta is entering a new phase” the speech opened. “The pandemic has taken too much from us! Young people have lost two years of the best times of their life. We need to move forward and claim back our liberties. Over spring we must move in this direction” the Prime Minister said.
Robert Abela said this government would have a new set of priorities, ones which would see Malta attain high standards and levels of success.
