Government Signs 5 Million Euro Deal In Aid Of Puttinu Cares
The government has signed a €5 million agreement with NGO Puttinu Cares to build apartments in London for cancer patients receiving medical treatment.
Some 30 apartments will be built as part of the project, adding to the 19 already owned by Puttinu.
Prime Minister Robert Abela said “ We owed the people this so we made it happen,”
Abela praised the Maltese values and said that the agreement is a reflection of the beautiful characteristics of the Maltese people who, in times of difficulty, help each other.
