Former Labour minister Konrad Mizzi has been forced to testify before the public inquiry into the murder of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.
In a statement Mizzi labelled the inquiry a "charade" that had been "politicised" which he refused to participate in.
Judges ordered him to turn up at 9.30am nonetheless.
Mizzi is now in court where he has remained tight lipped throughout the session.
Question after question about his dubious dealings and Mizzi has stuck to his template answer: "Ma nweġibx", "I won’t reply,"
This was to be expected, in a Facebook post just prior Mizzi said :“I have no obligation to allow political assassins to take advantage of this public inquiry. I am therefore not going to answer any question and have no intention of taking part in their theatrics."
