Miriam Vella, Wife of President, Admitted to Mater Dei With Pneumonia Symptoms
Mrs Miriam Vella, the wife of President George Vella, was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on Monday evening for observation after she developed symptoms of pneumonia.
The Office of the President has said that it will keep the public adjourned with updates about Mrs Vella’s health.
Vella has occupied the role of First Lady of Malta since April 2019, after her husband George Vella, a former doctor, was sworn in as President of the Republic on the same day.
