Keith Schembri, former Chief of Staff of Joseph Muscat and business magnate Yorgen Fenech shared over 900 WhatsApp messages in 2019, investigations have revealed.
Sources have confirmed that Keith Schembri spent most of his time at the police depot on Wednesday being interrogated about these messages.
The same sources confirmed that the conversations evidenced a very close relationship between the pair.
Investigators said they are now looking deeper into the WhatsApp group between Joseph Muscat, Keith Schembri and Yorgen Fenech.
