Kailey Willis, the 17-year old local starlet who scored an impressive 26 goals in 35 games for Maltese champions Birkirkara, has now moved to Italy and will flex her talents at Hellas Verona in the Serie A Femminile
SideStreet spoke to her agent @luigifenech, who told us that Kailey is absolutely ‘elated’ to have reached this exciting new stage in her career, explaining that she’s been working towards this major milestone from a very young age.
Kailey will become the sixth Maltese player to feature in the Italian women leagues joining an impressive group of local ladies making a name for themselves overseas.
