Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
SideStreet Malta ("we", "us", or "our") operates the SideStreet Publisher application (the "App"), a content management tool used to schedule and publish content to Facebook and Instagram on behalf of SideStreet Malta.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
The App connects to Facebook and Instagram via the Meta Graph API. In doing so, it may access:
-
Facebook Page information (name, ID, access tokens) for pages you administer
-
Instagram Business Account information linked to your Facebook Page
-
Content published to or scheduled for your Page and Instagram account (posts, images, captions)
-
Page engagement data (read-only metrics such as reach and reactions)
We do not collect personal data from your Facebook followers or Instagram audience. We do not access your personal Facebook profile data beyond what is strictly necessary to authenticate and manage your Page.
2. How We Use the Information
Information accessed via the Meta API is used solely to:
-
Publish and schedule posts to your Facebook Page and Instagram Business Account
-
Display your existing content within the App for management purposes
-
Verify that posts have been successfully published
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
3. Data Retention
Access tokens and API credentials are stored only as long as necessary to operate the App. We do not store copies of your Facebook or Instagram content beyond what is required for the scheduling queue. You may revoke the App's access at any time via your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
4. Data Processors
We use the following third-party service to operate the App:
-
Lovable Technologies — provides the application infrastructure and hosting for the SideStreet Publisher App. Lovable Technologies operates data centres in the United States and Sweden.
These processors are bound by data processing agreements and handle your data solely on our instructions.
5. Facebook and Meta Platform Data
The App uses the following Meta API permissions:
-
instagram_basic — to read basic Instagram Business Account information
-
instagram_content_publish — to publish content to Instagram on your behalf
-
pages_show_list — to identify which Facebook Pages you manage
-
pages_read_engagement — to read engagement metrics on your Page
-
pages_manage_posts — to create and manage posts on your Facebook Page
Data obtained through these permissions is used exclusively within the scope described above and is not shared with any party other than as described in Section 4.
