Alleged Daphne Caruana Galizia hitman Vincent Muscat (known as il-Kohhu) has named a sitting cabinet minister claiming that he helped plan a heist on HSBC’s Malta headquarters in 2010.
Il-Kohhu spilled the information in his application for a presidential pardon.
Muscat is offering information on more than a dozen major crimes, spanning the last decade, which he has told police he is willing to speak about, including murders and other armed robberies in exchange for lenience from the courts.
Vincent Muscat stands accused of having planted and triggered the bomb that killed Caruana Galizia in 2017.
